4-Day Masai Mara Road Safari

Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tours manager and your dedicated driver-guide for a short safari briefing. Depart Nairobi and travel toward the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint for photographs of one of Africa’s most remarkable landscapes.

The Rift Valley stretches across Kenya, creating a dramatic mix of escarpments, plains, farmland, and lakes. Continue down to the valley floor and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your chosen camp or lodge. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive at approximately 4:00 pm, returning for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend two full days exploring the Masai Mara with morning game drives at 6:30 am and afternoon game drives at 4:00 pm. The reserve forms part of the wider Mara–Serengeti ecosystem, offering open savannah, riverine woodland, and exceptional opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

Look for elephants, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, buffalo, elands, topis, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, and zebras. Between June and September, the annual Wildebeest Migration brings large herds across the plains in search of fresh grazing, creating one of Africa’s most memorable wildlife spectacles.

All meals and overnight stays are at your chosen camp or lodge.

Masai Mara – Nairobi Departure

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel back to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. This itinerary is best suited to international flights departing at approximately 3:25 pm or 6:10 pm.
